Seen a Vertical Ceiling?: District Governor's Visit- Singing Seafood Drinking Dancing Karaok

Just so you know..I DIDN'T DO ANY of the above mentioned things =)

District Governor Bill was gonna sit in one of the Rotary Club of Wujih's meetings. Some of you might not understand what this really means..but okay..I'll try to explain..

Taiwan is seperated into several Districts, Districts 3460, 3470, 3480, 3490, 3500, 3510, 3520. Hence, Taiwan is known as Multidistrict Taiwan =)

I'm currently under District 3460, which covers Taichung area. And each district has a District Governor, and he's responsible for everything that happens in his District and needs to co-ordinate between other Districts as well.

So, District Governor Bill, would travel around Taichung, visiting each Rotary club to interview them and ask about what they would be doing in this Rotary year and discuss for possible plans, projects etc.

So, when District Governor Bill comes to one of our meetings, we do not have it like we do ordinarily at this hall above a kindergarthen :P They had it at one of the Rotarian's (Wasabe's) restaurant..have lots of food and karaok-ing.

I thought it would be a good time to give the stuff I've brought from Malaysia to Rotarians as well since all of them will be there and it's a sorta of formal ceremony anyways. So..I had lots of do..wrapping gifts for the Rotarians..there were almost 30 of them.

My host sisters were very kind!! They helped me wrap the gifts and we were done in less than an hour.

YES ANDREW. WE WERE WORKING. I REPEAT.

MY ROOM ISN'T LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME! TOTALLY CLEARED AFTER WORKING.

Anyways..the dinner..

We were there at around 6pm and well we didn't have to wait too long. DG. Bill gave a long long long long long long long long speech in Mandarin and campur-ed a lot of Hokkien in it. I got lost after a while..maybe understoof like 30% of it? lol

And..the gifts my host sisters and I wrapped for all the Rotarians =)

They have this monthly birthday celebration where they celebrate August babies' birthdays all together at the end of the month. They usually have this huge ass cake with so much cream on top you'll feel 10 kilos heavier after eating a slice of it. But nope..I didn't take it..lol. Didn't dare to actually..

After birthday celebrations..food finally caaaammmeee..and seriously..they just can not wait..as soon as the second dish came...
